Saying that he didn’t love him, how could it be that simple

If all of this hadn’t happened under Luo Cheng’s tacit approval, even if Song Chuci drugged him again, he would not have succeeded.

The limitless pleasurable sensation gradually numbed Luo Cheng, and his thoughts somehow returned to that night a year ago.

That night, as soon as he got off the plane, he excitedly read Song Chuci’s text message.

He thought a lot over the past year and felt that he was too immature at the time. That’s why he had responded to the text message like that. In other words, during the two years that they were together, he had already hurt Song Chuci in many ways.

Luo Cheng was an irresponsible youth, he spent a lot of money and never paid attention to Song Chuci’s life experiences–too ignorant to even care about Song Chuci’s family background. Until that day, before he left the airport, he was stopped by his brother and sister who then told him the truth.

Yeah, how could there be so many coincidences in the world?

Why was Song Chuci the one who saved him in the first place?

Because everything had been meticulously planned by him–the drug was given by him, the rich businessman also arranged by him. He appeared in a glorious manner, and until the moment before he knew the truth, Luo Cheng had still felt a little guilty in his heart.

He knew that Song Chuci had never been with a man before and thought he had bent Song Chuci.

He had always believed that since he led the other party on this path, he must be responsible. He had taken the initiative to seduce Song Chuci that night, so it was his fault.

But now, everyone is telling him: “What you thought was your mistake was actually all part of Song Chuci’s scheme!”

Luo Cheng naturally didn’t believe it. However, the appearance of the rich businessman and the waiter who had drugged him led him to be unable to stay in denial, forcing him to accept the facts.

In addition, there was also Song Chuci’s insufferable past.

Knowing that Song Chuci had been in contact with so many people and had done so many unspeakable things for the sake of his status, Luo Cheng’s views on the world suddenly collapsed. He had lived purely for the past twenty years. He doesn’t need to see the dark side of the industry because he is Luo Cheng.

Everyone is telling him: “Your lover is not only lying to you, he is also using you!”

   Could he refute? He couldn’t.

Two women had cried and told him that after Song Chuci had used them, he ruthlessly abandoned them. One of the women had even gotten pregnant, but Song Chuci dragged her to the hospital, and cold-bloodedly forced her to get an abortion.

    It was a six-month-old child!

How could Song Chuci be so cold? That’s his kid too!

Suddenly, his heart seemed to sink into an ice cellar.

Luo Cheng had already considered that Song Chuci’s methods in climbing up the ranks were not clean.  Just like Wen Ya had said, based on Song Chuci’s young age and background, for him to be able to stand at the top of the industry, guarantees that his foundation consists of a wasteland of bones.

Luo Cheng had thought about it a lot, he pondered on it quite a bit.

But he could have never imagined that the man had already arranged himself among the bones. He had almost foolish and ignorantly, even willingly, became one of those bones.

However, even if he knew that the other party was only using himself as a tool to climb up, after venting his grievances, Luo Cheng still wanted to go back. He couldn’t help it–two years of being together made him fall in love with this man.

    He likes Song Chuci.

He didn’t know when or where this love had started. Perhaps it was that night when he first met him when the man pushed open the thin door of the bathroom stall and had said “I will take you away,” that he had already given his heart away.

His body was hot, but his heart gradually grew cold. Luo Cheng gritted his teeth as tears slowly flowed out. Finally, he looked up and kissed the man’s lips. Bitter tears slid along the curves of his face before ultimately dripping in between their locked lips.

It may have been forced in the beginning, but over time, it had become mutual cooperation.

After this night, as they had once been, they became lovers again.

Luo Cheng hadn’t been to Song Chuci’s house for over a year, but after entering, he found that nothing had changed. Aside from the kitchen seeming to be more empty, there was only an extra box.

Without letting Luo Cheng look around more, the man’s passionate kiss brought them into another round of vigorous sex. They are simply lovers, simply bed partners, so they only need to have sex. Where would love be needed?

Song Chu Ci said that he loved him, this man kept repeatedly saying that he loved him, but he did not deny all that happened. This kind of tacit agreement really chilled Luo Cheng’s heart, but he also knew that it was precisely because those things were facts that this man could not deny.

One month after returning home, it was Luo Cheng’s birthday.

On the day of his birthday, Song Chuci’s house was still deserted. The man seemed to have not remembered his birthday, but he sent a text message asking Luo Cheng to come for a round of crazed sex. Luo Cheng’s heart was cold, so cold that even though his body was feverishly hot, tears couldn’t stop trickling out.

In the end, as he neared his climax, Luo Cheng couldn’t help but cry out: “What happened to the gift you were going to give me?”

What responded to him was an even more aggressive thrust from the man and a whisper in his ear: “Trust me, Luo Cheng. I love you, when can you trust in me.”

Song Chuci never gave any explanation, but every time after they finished, he would carefully help Luo Cheng clean his body, then go to the balcony alone with a cigarette, smoking ceaselessly. He smoked them one after another, smoking a lot every time, sometimes even two packs in one night.

This behavior was simply killing away his life. One time, Luo Cheng couldn’t watch anymore and tried to dissuade him.

Song Chuci looked at him deeply then smiled and asked, “You believe me?”

    Luo Cheng was silent.

He didn’t know what to believe, but he felt that Song Chuci was getting harder and harder to understand.

It was probably because he smoked too much. Luo Cheng had already discovered that when he came back this time, Song Chuci was much thinner than a year ago. It wasn’t visible when he put on clothes, but after his clothes came off, he gave off a strange feeling of thinness. He wasn’t that skinny, but it made people feel like this person had never been able to eat well.

After interacting with him for a long time, Luo Cheng was also surprised to find that he had never seen Song Chuci eat.

Don’t talk about rice, this man rarely even drinks water. Sometimes he only takes two sips.

When Song Chuci went to take a shower one time, Luo Cheng couldn’t hold back anymore and ran to the kitchen to open the box. The box was not locked. Opening it gently, he saw the contents clearly.

When he saw what was inside, Luo Cheng was stunned. He stared blankly, unable to return to his senses for a long time.

Under the cold and bright moonlight, each glass bottle reflected a dark blue and purple light. The dense liquid gently sloshed in each bottle, the texture thick. As he counted, one layer became two, then three, four, five layers!

From what Luo Cheng could see, there were at least a hundred bottles of glucose sitting in that box!

These bottles of glucose sat quietly in front of him. They couldn’t move or speak, but as he watched, Luo Cheng’s heart sank. He seemed to perceive something, seemed to grasp something, and seemed to finally understand why he never saw the man eating, why the man even drank so little water!

Why would he consume this kind of thing instead of food?!

    Why would he…

“The box is about to expire.” A low, magnetic voice rang from behind and Luo Cheng stiffened all over. He turned to look and saw Song Chuci wipe his hair with a towel in one hand before saying softly: “Though right now, you can bring me a bottle.”

    Luo Cheng did not move.

He stood beside the box and looked at Song Chuci silently.

The two looked at each other for a long time, no one moving first.

In the end, it was Luo Cheng that suddenly picked up a bottle of glucose. However, his hand slipped and the bottle fell to the ground. The sound of the glass breaking was particularly harsh in the quiet room, and the long silence was broken with the cracking sound

Luo Cheng’s face was already full of tears. He rarely cried, but it seemed that in front of Song Chuci, he would become a crybaby. He would cry out of anger because of this person, he would cry from shame because of this person; because he was angry that this person dared to use this method to torture himself, to torture him, he cried out of agony.

“What do you mean by this? Who are you showing this kind of bitter trick to? Song Chuci, your body is your own business, it had nothing to do with me! If you want to die, just say it, why are doing this on purpose? You deliberately let me see this right? You did this on purpose, right? You want to make me feel bad, you want to tell me it’s not easy for you either?”

Song Chuci looked at Luo Cheng in silence, not saying a word.

Luo Cheng cried and cried, then suddenly smiled: “Song Chuci, I am not the me I used to be. I used to be willing to be deceived by you, but now, your bitter tricks are useless. If you want to die then go die, you nothing to do with me.”

When he finished, Luo Cheng stepped forward to leave, but when he walked by Song Chuci, he suddenly heard a low sigh.

When Luo Cheng didn’t react, his hand was suddenly caught. He turned around and saw the man’s deep and gloomy gaze on him, his eyes were gentle and delicate, like the softest spring breeze, as if he was looking at his most precious treasure.

“Don’t cry. I was wrong before. In the future, don’t cry.”

After saying this, Song Chuci didn’t stop Luo Cheng from leaving.

The next day, Luo Cheng hadn’t slept well at night from anger. He cried all night and his eyes were red, then directly approached his agent and insisted that he must leave for the United States again, never to stay in Huaxia again.

But this time, before Wen Ya spoke, and an unexpected person appeared in Luo Cheng’s lounge.

When faced with Xi Ze, Luo Cheng couldn’t help but to lower his head. To be honest, in some respects, Xi Ze and Song Chuci are a bit similar; but with Xi Ze, Luo Cheng could not communicate as easily as with Song Chuci, even though the two were considered to have known each other since childhood.

Xi Ze’s first question after arriving was, “Going to run away again?”

Luo Cheng wilted a bit but said anyway, “No matter what you say this time, I will definitely leave. Xi Ze, you also have someone you like, you should understand my feelings. If, suppose, hypothetically, Ming Yu is just using you, and he tries his best to control you and keeps saying he loves you, but never explains his actions to you, what would you think?”

Xi Ze didn’t hesitate for a moment before replying: “I believe him.”

This answer choked Luo Cheng’s next words in his throat.

Xi Ze looked down at him for a long time and said, “Song Chuci almost died half a year ago.”
